Our core philosophy in Changepond, is in getting our Customers to ‘trust’ us as an outsourcing and offshore IT organization, so their business objectives can be achieved.
"To the Customer it means getting Dependability in terms of quality, cost, timeliness, transparency and most importantly in achieving the business objectives of the service being provided. For us, internally, it means Dependability into all our processes, whether it is Customer facing or not."
S Ramachandran,
Chairman & CEO
Software services organizations have been using different measures of performance to benchmark their effectiveness. Success of projects and outsourcing arrangements are usually very person dependant and can vary widely unless backed by a program that minimizes this variability. For a mission critical and operational activity like enterprise applications, inconsistency in execution cannot be tolerated. Dependability in delivery is a given expectation, but often not achieved, unless built into the psyche of the delivery organization.
"At Changepond such statements are no longer verbal niceties, but translate to a company wide program ingrained into everything we do. This program covers all aspects of Dependability and is broken down to Dependability in delivering the Business value envisaged in the solution as well as in meeting the delivery goals of timeliness, cost and quality.
The Changepond Dependability program is the manifestation of our core philosophy of ‘trust’ translated into actionable and tangible benefits for the Customer. It is the action on the ground to make our motto - ‘Dependable deliveries and measurable benefits’, a reality."
Srinivas Katta, General Manager & CTO
Changepond Dependability Program
The program involves introduction of dependability related actions in all processes involved in delivery to the Customer. Software tools have been developed to ensure that these processes are executed consistently to achieve dependability. In order to handle dynamic business objectives, flexibility is built into the processes. A culture of dependability is continuously fostered among Changepond employees, through continuous management involvement in reviews so that even unstructured engagements can be reliably delivered.
